Keeping Time: Ledger Drawings and the Pictographic Traditions of Native North Americans

Donald Ellis Gallery is pleased to announce the exhibition Keeping Time: Ledger Drawings and the Pictographic Traditions of Native North Americans 1820-1900 in collaboration with TrepanierBaer Gallery, Calgary, Canada. The exhibition showcases art produced on the Great Plains of North America during the latter part of the 19th century, and brings together a variety of work including Ledger Drawings, parfleches and pictographic hides. The exhibition runs from June 21-August 16, 2014.
